Department of Physics was established in the year of 1972. Physics curriculum is offered to B.Sc. M.P.C.&  M.P.CS(3 year UG courses). It is structured with good laboratories containing sophisticated instruments. LCD Projector is used for teaching lessons in the form of PPTs. The Department has Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yogi vemana University, Kadapa. One minor research projects ( UGC) are completed by the faculty. The department has research collaborations with S.V. University, Tirupati.
