Overview

The strength of the Department has always been the selfless dedication and hard work of the faculty members, who strive each year to improve the pass percentage of the students. Department to aim develop brilliant graduates, conduct in-depth research, be academically ambitious and fulfil the national standard. We are dedicated to developing understandings of institutions, practices and relations that constitute public life and modes of inquiry that promote citizenship.

Building a solid foundation in basic academic knowledge for the students is our prime vision with a strong emphasis on practical aspects of the knowledge for the benefit of our society. We continually encourage and help students to actively participate and get engage in different other areas like cultural and social activities too.

Details of Infrastructural Facilities

Our Educational Institutions are owned by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. We have well ventilated and good infrastructural facilities class rooms available for our department students. There is one staff room and dept in charge room also available for staff. Library runs by Dept itself apart from college Library for our dept students.

  • Strengths


Coordination among faculty. Student’s feedback report, continuous internal assessment, remedial classes for slow learners & regular dept meetings for faculty to planning.

The failure on the part of the college to recruit the sufficient staff to the department.

Our students have opportunity to join NSS/NCC/SORTS& GAMES /Cultural activities such as institutional social responsibility and extension activities.

  • Challenges


The placement of the output in different government and non-government sectors, self-employment is one of the main challenges before the department.

  • Future Plans


Provide necessary training to students for competitive examinations by introducing quantitative aptitude, analytical aptitude papers etc., Organising more guest lecturers by inviting exports.  To conduct and encourage participation in seminars and workshops in our department/college/out side colleges.
