Dear Students,

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in a Philanthropic attempt to contribute significantly for the development of poor students through education, established Sri Govindaraja Swamy Arts College in the year 1969, providing all the necessary facilities and amenities to the students including Hostels and food.

SGS Arts College is an ISO 9001:2015 certified and NAAC ‘A+’ Accredited Educational institution. It provides the right ambience to attain excellence in Education through appropriate infrastructural facilities well qualified and inspiring faculty, a well-stocked library, Wi-Fi enabled campus, state of-the-art laboratories, innovative and inspiring teaching-learning process and working systems.

Principal's Message

Dear Students,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our S.G.S. Arts College, Tirupati website: The purpose of this webpage is to provide parents, students, and our education community with ease of access to a wealth of information on college programs, policies, and activities.

Our college cares for the individual development of every student. We follow a "mentor system under which each class is put into the multi-pronged web of a teacher. We are unconditionally committed to providing the best possible educational program to our students. Every morning starts with a spiritual prayer of Sri Venkateswara Suprabhatham followed by the chanting of Bhagavad Gita slokas and National anthem which help the students in inculcating the right and unbiased perspective of observing and knowing the own self that lets our TTD heritage and thus make our college stand out from other colleges.

We accord prime importance to the behavioural discipline, moral integrity, and cognitive developments of our students. Departments of Physical Education, NSS, NCC, and Centre for Women Empowerment offer integrated services for the multi-faceted developments of our students. Read more...
