4.3: IT Infrastructure

4.3.1: Institution frequently updates its IT facilities including Wi-Fi

The institution updates IT facilities through TTD management. Necessary repairs and updates of software are done as and when required.

• Servicing of the systems, updating the programs and software are carried out periodically by the T.T.D Management through EDP (Electronic Data Processing) Department.
• The college has adequate computer facility for the faculty.
• Thecollegehas5 LEDprojectors,2 OHP,4 TVsetsutilizedforITteaching. By utilizing IT facility CC Camera surveillance is provided in the college campus for maintaining safety and security of the students.
• Thecollegehasalwaysbeenplacingthestudentatthecentreoftheteaching-learningprocessandis student-centric by utilizing IT facility.
• The college has a Digital classroom to facilitate more IT-based learning.
• The lecturers are provided one week orientation training programs from time to -time for updating of knowledge on ICT utilization by TTD Management through SVETA.
• Lecturers adopt ICT methods in their teaching.
• The students are encouraged to use IT facility while participating in seminars and workshops conducted by various Departments in the college.
• Computer science faculty is always available for any need based assistance in the use of ICT.
• The institute upgrades Infrastructure and software. The college is updating PCs with the latest configurationavailableinthemarket.
• Wi-Fi is provided to all the staff and students (password protected).
