4.4.2: There are established systems and procedures for maintaining and utilizing physical, academic and support facilities - laboratory, library, sports complex, computers, classrooms etc.

               The institution has a well established system for maintaining and utilizing physical, academic and support facilities. Every day Sullabha Workers are involved in cleaning of class rooms and campus area under the maintenance of sanitary Inspector. Lawn and Garden are maintained by Gardening staff under the control of TTD DFO. Civil, Electrical, Water Works, Carpenter Technicians are always available to attend to the repairs during any need or emergency. Thus cleanliness is maintained in the campus. EDP section maintains the computer and Local area network facility on the campus.

Physical Facilities:

  • Every Year Hon’ble TTD Trust Board sanctions budget based on the requirements of students, student strength and the nature of academic programmes offered by the college for construction of buildings, class rooms maintenance and purchase of equipment.
  • Major maintenance works are carried out by the TTD management itself.
  • Day to day works is carried out by the technicians appointed for repair and maintenance of the building.
  • The available funds under different heads are utilized for this purpose.

Academic Facilities:

  •  Academic facilities like laboratories, libraries and computers are maintained by the departments concerned of TTD Management.
  • The laboratory equipment and electronic equipment are maintained and repaired by the EDP (Electronic Data Processing) and electrical Departments.
  • As per the requirements of the students, purchases are made as and when the budgets are released by the Executive Officer Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s and UGC. IT, Computers and its Accessories are purchased through appropriate tender procedures under the supervision of IT Manager. Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering works are maintained by the respective Engineering departments. All the engineering departments are headed by Chief Engineer. FA&CAO allocates budgets to institutions according to their proposals as per the TTD Trust Board resolutions. The Chief Accounts and Auditing officer (CAAO) does auditing of utilization of budget allocations every year.
  • Every Department HOD maintains a T&P register for the available equipment and furniture. Stock verification is completed every year.
  • Stock purchased is entered into T&P registers. The Head of the institution and the HOD authenticate the T&P registers after checking the stock entries.
  • Consumable and non-consumable articles are maintained in separate T&P registers.
  • The college takes up calibration and other precision measures for the equipment at the end ofevery academic year.
  • Basing on the T&P registers necessary repairs and alternatives are taken up by respective departments of TTD Management. Equipments and instruments are maintained in good condition and ready for use for the next batch.
  • Information Resource Centers (Libraries) are looked after by qualified and eligible Librarian, Assistant Librarians and supporting staff. Students’ entry register, staff entry register, books issue register and T&P are maintained regularly.
  • The department of Physical Education and Gymnasium are headed by the qualified Physical Director and the department is maintained by the supporting staff.

Support Facilities:

  • Support facilities like games and sports, indoor stadium, Gym are maintained by regular verification and repairs.
  • The DFO, CE, SE, EE, AE and other administration officers often extend their services in college maintenance and keeping the campus clean and green.
  • The NSS and NCC volunteers of this college also extend their service to keep the premises of our college clean and green.
  • The lush green lawns and garden trees of our College are maintained by a team of efficient and experienced gardeners. One Aqua Culture tank and one ECO system tank are also maintained by the same team. The college constitutes a main garden and a medicinal garden comprising medicinal plants, ornamental plants, fruit and flower bearing trees.
  • The college has 3 attached Hostel Blocks, giving shelter to around 1000 students. The hostels provide a unique facility of free food to all inmates, a scheme which is not found in any educational institution of our state. To look after the administration of these hostel blocks and to take care of the needs of the students the TTD Management has appointed a Warden, Deputy Wardens, Manager and office staff. The principal of college acts as the Chief Warden of the Hostel.
  • R.O drinking water facility is provided to all students in college and hostel through the installation of 4 R.O systems in view of the health of the students. The maintenance of the R.O water systems is managed by the water works department of TTD.
  • The Chief Vigilance and Security officer (CVSO) of TTD posts security staff for both College and Hostel. They will maintain students’ movement register in College and Hostel. The duty of security personnel is to maintain peaceful environment in College and Hostel.
